General Vincent Collins (1845 - ?) was a veteran of the Great Northern War and was the commander of the Mexican Army for most of the Hundred Day War. When the French Expeditionary Force began its drive on Mexico City from its beachhead in Tampico in July 1914, Collins was unable to halt the advance. President Victoriano Consalus removed Collins from command on 13 August 1914 and replaced him with General Emiliano Calles, the commander of the Durango district.
