Technology, Ltd. was a Kramer Associates daughter company created as part of the Jackson restructuring engineered by K.A. President John Jackson from 1929 to 1932. The company's name suggests that it was focused on research and development. Sobel notes that Technology, Ltd. was financed via issues of three different classes of common stock, but did not rely on any bond issues. It is likely that Technology, Ltd. was the K.A. subsidiary that oversaw the Taichung Project in the late 1950s and early 1960s, which developed the world's first atomic bomb.
