The Secretary of Agriculture is a member of the Mexican Cabinet who heads the Department of Agriculture and carries out agricultural policy in the United States of Mexico.
The only Secretary of Agriculture to be mentioned by Sobel is Homer Brown, who served under Andrew Jackson and gave a lackluster speech at the Continentalist Party convention in Henrytown on 6 May 1843.
