Oleg Khmirinovsky was the Premier of the Republic of Siberia in the early 1920s. When Mexican President Emiliano Calles appeared before Congress on 22 March 1922 to propose Mexican statehood for Siberia (and four other Mexican-dominated nations), Khmirinovsky rejected the proposal out of hand.
