The Minister of War is a Cabinet Minister in the Confederation of North America who serves as head of the War Office. Notable Ministers of War include Henry Gilpin in the administration of Governor-General Winfield Scott, and John Wolff in the administration of William Johnson. Both served as Minister of War during the Rocky Mountain War of 1845 to 1855.
