Mendoza, Arizona.
Mendoza is a city in the Mexican state of Arizona, located a hundred miles west of the border with Mexico del Norte. During the Rocky Mountain War, a North American army led by General David Homer made camp in Mendoza in October 1849 and remained during the winter before setting out for California in the spring of 1850.
