Malcolm Hart.
Malcolm Hart was the leader of the Whig Party of Great Britain in the 1930s. Unlike incumbent Prime Minister George Bolingbroke of the Tory Party, Hart sought to avert a threatened war with the Germanic Confederation by reaching an accommodation with German Chancellor Karl Bruning. In the Parliamentary elections of November 1937, the Tories maintained their majority in the House of Commons, and Bolingbroke was returned as Prime Minister. Within two years of Bolingbroke's victory, the Global War had broken out between Britain and Germany.
