John Jackson

K.A. President John Jackson.

Kramer of the Philippines was a Kramer Associates daughter company incorporated in the Philippines as part of the Jackson restructuring engineered by K.A. President John Jackson from 1929 to 1932.

Sobel notes that when Jackson succeeded to the presidency of K.A. in 1926, the company controlled the Filipino economy under a contract signed by that country's president. It is likely that Jackson was already planning K.A.'s move from San Francisco to the Philippines when he established K.P., and that the subsidiary was created with that move in mind.
