Fernando Mordes.

Fernando Mordes was a reporter at the Mexico City Tribune in the early twentieth century. Following a vitavised debate between President Victoriano Consalus and his Libertarian challenger General Emiliano Calles on 29 March 1920, Mordes wrote, "Consalus destroyed Calles as a matador finishes off a dull bull."
