Edward White

Edward White.

Edward White was a banker who was appointed Administrator of the National Financial Administration by Governor-General Christopher Hemingway on 6 August 1904, along with fellow banker Hugh Neill and former Indiana Governor Maxwell Boatner. White and his fellow Administrators continued the conservative policies of their predecessor Julius Nelson. Sobel does not say when White retired from the N.F.A.

Sobel's source for Edward White's term as Administrator of the N.F.A. is John Friendly's A History of the National Financial Administration (New York, 1967).
