Diego Santiago.

Diego Santiago was a columnist for the Mexico City Times in the early twentieth century. His column in the 5 June 1909 issue of the Times was in response to President Anthony Flores's remark, "The people know me. I am one of them." Santiago wrote, "The President is the lowest common denominator, and what is more surprising, he appears proud of it."
