David Heald was the Liberal Governor of Indiana in the 1920s. Heald was an intelligent man who, like his fellow Liberals Henderson Dewey, Foster McCabe, and John Jenckinson, was able to present an appearance of modesty, understatement, and coolness, qualities which came across well on vitavision.
