Cortez University is an institution of higher learning in Taiwan. Its faculty includes Stanley Tulin, a Professor of History and curator of the Kramer Associates papers.
Although Sobel does not specifically say so, it is possible that Cortez U. is a special school restricted to K.A. employees. Cortez U. may be the same institution as Kramer University, which was located in Honolulu, Hawaii in the early part of the twentieth century, or it may be a successor to Kramer U. after the latter was shut down by the Mexican authorities during or after the Global War.
