Majority Leader Charles Dorsey.
Charles Dorsey was Majority Leader of the Liberal Party caucus in the Nineteenth Grand Council from July 1934 to February 1938. Dorsey was an opponent of Governor-General Douglas Watson's military buildup. When public opinion turned against Watson's arms program in July 1934, Majority Leader Herbert Lee, a supporter of the program, was deposed by the Liberal caucus, and Dorsey was chosen in his place.
