The Battle of Arroyo de Quatros Hombres was a battle of the Mexico del Norte campaign of the Rocky Mountain War that took place in 1848. In the battle, the Cheyenne Chief Running Deer defeated a North American army under General Harry Chapin of Indiana at the Arroyo de Quatros Hombres in Mexico del Norte. The Battle of Arroyo de Quatros Hombres was the last major engagement of the Mexico del Norte campaign, and marked the high point of President Pedro Hermión's popularity.
