4. Like its counterpart in Newark IOW, Webster was originally named Delaware College. However, its name was changed to honor Northern Confederation Governor Daniel Webster following his assassination in 1840. As Sobel notes, Webster has become one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the CNA. (JP)
